By downloading, installing, or using LifeDates ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

LifeDates is a mobile application that helps users track and remember important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, and other personal events. The App provides reminder notifications, cloud synchronization, and various organizational features.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Free and Premium Services

Free Version

The free version of LifeDates includes basic features with a limit of 15 dates. This version may include advertisements.

Premium Subscription

Premium features are available through a paid subscription. Premium benefits include:

  • Unlimited dates
  • Advanced reminder options
  • Custom categories and icons
  • Photo memories
  • Gift tracking
  • Family sharing
  • Ad-free experience
  • Priority support

5. Payment and Billing

  • Premium subscriptions are billed through your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings
  • Refunds are handled according to app store policies

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to transmit harmful code or malware
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and code, is owned by LifeDates and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create in the App (dates, notes, photos). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT NOTIFICATIONS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED. WHILE WE STRIVE FOR RELIABILITY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT NO REMINDER SYSTEM IS 100% FOOLPROOF.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFEDATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MISSED EVENTS, FORGOTTEN DATES, OR ANY PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL CONSEQUENCES THEREOF.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting your account.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LifeDates operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
